Show Jy " '- V - ... vS- OWEN RAY (STEVE) HARDY Vernal man dies at Sage Motel Owen Ray (Steve) Hardy, 58, died at the Sage Motel in Vernal, June 22, 1980. He was born Dec. 24, 1921 in Vernal to Nathan Cutler Hardy and Jane E. Fisher Hardy. He married Mabel Bills Dec. 24, 1946 in Vernal and they were later divorced. He was employed in the oil field, a member of the IDS Church and served in the Army during World War II. He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Tod (Cheryle) Atwood, Mrs. Sandy Atwood, both of Vernal; Mrs. Merle (Kathie) Muirhead of Neola, Utah; Mrs. Rod (Tami) Murray of Evanston, Wyo.; sue grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Alvin (Erma) Weeks, Mrs. Jess (Alice) York and Mrs. Cora Pack all of Vernal; and a brother, Noel Hardy of Altamont, Utah. Services will be Thursday, June 26, at 11 a.m. in the Thomson's Vernal Mortuary. Friends may call at the Mortuary Wednesday 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Rock Point Cemetery. |
