The team had nine hole scores of 59 to 52. Nina Pease, Lola Anderson, Linda Floyd, Pearl Preece and Mayor Sam Snyder pocketed second place with a score of 113. The crew posted a 53 on the first nine and a 60 on the second nine. Glenda Brown, Virgie Goad, Karma Bethune, Monica Armeteg and Chuck Henry placed third at 114. The team had nine hole sores of 57 and 57. The team of Liz Becker, June Dotson, Corrine Pease, Meb Wardell and Craig Hart netted fourth place at 117. The crew posted nine hole scores of 58 and 59. Capturing fifth place in the meet were Phyllis Trough, Gwen Parker, Kim Mowry, JoAnn Caldwell and Doyle Huber at 62-56-118. Virginia posted a score of 89 and Betty placed second se-cond at 90. Virginia had nine hole scores of 45 and 44 and Betty had scores of 43 and 47. Helen Melton and Nina Pease of Vernal tied for third place at 91. Helen posted scores of 44 and 47 and Nina had rounds of 43 and 48. Vernal's Jean Johnston captured the A flight net crown with a score of 67. Fran Clark placed second at 68 and June Dotson, Vernal, nabbed third at 69. Phyllis Viche placed fourth at 71. Penny Sykes of Rifle, Colorado, garnered first place in the B flight gross at 93. She fired rounds of 50 and 43. Craig's Jackie Wilson placed second at 98. She fired rounds of 47 and 51. Vernal's Ver-nal's Gini Denton nabbed third place at 99. She had scores of 45 and 54. Shirley Rosene placed fourth at 104. She fired rounds of 52 and 51. Vernal's Helen Hood captured first place in the B flight net with a score of 66. Margo Denver of Roosevelt placed second at 69 and Joan Samuels, Roosevelt, nabbed third at 70. Lucille Phillips collected fourth place at 72. Butch Reigh of Vernal garnered first place in the C flight gross with a score of 101.
