Recent federal statutes and Utah's Open Meetings Laws have been enacted to allow news coverage of almost all government activities and records. It is the duty of a responsible free press to give you information about city council meetings, school board decisions, deci-sions, and county commission meetings, but you will never read about them if you permit them to hold their meetings behind closed doors. |
