TREES PLANTED Green River people planted their fair share of trees this spring. Of the 1,500 trees that came in, all but about 150 junipers have been set out. It is getting so hot now, that the remaining trees have to be rflanted-in the shade, or put in gallon cans and kept in the shade this summer for putting out next spring. Twenty-eight people secured secur-ed these trees for windbreaks and other acceptable uses. The trees were purchased by the City and the project was handled by the Chamber of Commerce. |
