Show f 1 i 1.1. it y J -i "X i 'r Kam Weihing and Jan Nielson have been named Valedictorian and Salutatorian of the Class of '76 at Green River High School. They will both speak at the Commencement exercises on May 26, 1976 at 7:30 p.m. in the Green River Gym. Kam is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Weihing, and has lived in Green River all his life. In addition to being an active member of the student body throughout high school, Kam has participated in basketball , football and won Outstanding Tennis award for the past two years. He has played trombone trom-bone in the band 8 years and competed in State Music Meet for 4 years. He was also active in speech and drama and served as Student Body Vice President during the past year. Kam plans to attend College of Southern Utah at Cedar City, to which he has a scholarship. She has been active in drill team, pep club, band, chorus and the Americanism Club. During the past year she was editor of the Pirate Paper and attended Girl's State. Additional activities include Home coming Queen, Junior Prom Queen, cheerleading and track. |
