Richard also worked on the March of Dimes Telethon and the Skate-a-Rama. Richard was born in Cana da, but both he and JoAnn were raised in American Fork, Utah. A graduate of American Fork High School, he attended Utah Technical College at Provo for two years, majoring in business management. Richard Ric-hard served on a building mission for the LDS Church in the northwestern United States Sta-tes and southeastern Canada for three years. As local store manager for v. In addition to the Jaycees, he is also an active member of Moab Retail Businessmen and Canyon-lands Canyon-lands CBer Club. His handle is Auggie Doggie. JoAnn is a member of the newly formed Jaycettes and is currently serving as treasurer. She has played piano for the Junior Sunday School and the Relief Society. Richard and JoAnn have three children-Kevin, 5 years old, Richelle, 3, and Richard, 1-and a dog, Hoss, that thinks he is one of the children. The family enjoys fishing, camping out, motorcycling, Moab's clean air and the recreational facilities of the area. Richard said the he expects to see "Moab as number 1 in the state next year and Utah number 1 in the United States." |
