Show Police Investigated Three Accidents During the Week City Police investigated three accidents during the past week. On May 13 at 7:20 p.m. at the Husky Station Thomas Deglas had parked his 1961 Landrover, and failed to put it in parking gear. It rolled down hill onto the highway and hit a 1971 Kenilworth driven by Loren Hanett. The Landrover was totaled and there was about $400 damage to the truck. Deglas was cited for improper parking. At 8:50 p.m. May 15 in the Greenwell Motel and Restaurant Restau-rant parking lot Jack Buckingham Bucking-ham was backing a 1976 Ford and backed into a 1972 Ford belonging to Donald J. Sanders, Sand-ers, doing about $100 damage to the Sanders vehicle. Buckingham Buck-ingham was cited for leaving the scene of an accident. May 15 at 7:45 p.m. at 396 S. Main, Donnie Ray Yardley was driving south in a 1970 Ford pickup. He started to change lanes and failed to see a 1966 Chevrolet driven by Betty Jean Pilling. The resultant collision caused about $150 damage to the Pilling vehicle and $200 damage to the Yardley vehicle. Yardley was cited for improper lane change, causing an accident. |
