Show Spanish Volley Water Discussed Here Monday The Grand County Commission Commis-sion held a lengthy session Monday afternoon discussing preliminary plans for water and sewer in Spanish Valley. Involved in the discussion were Art Maxwell, John Keogh, Harold Jacobs, Bill McDougald and members of the Spanish Valley Water and Sewer District Board. Arrangements Ar-rangements such as tieing in to the present sewage treatment treat-ment plant belonging to Moab City were being worked out, however, no final decisions were announced. In other business during the day registration, agents for the various voting districts were appointed. They are: District 1, LaPreal Berry; District 2, Judy Nelson; District 3, Alice Stocks; District 4, Christina Brans-com; Brans-com; District 5, Bet Beach; District 6, Sadie Dutos; and District 7, Lee Gardner. In addition, Sharon Ankrum was reappointed to the Library Board for another term. An ordinace adopting the Utah Mobile Home Code was passed which will become effective immediately after publication. The measure will set standards for mobile homes in the same manner the Uniform Building Code governs gov-erns other construction. |
