Show V. ' - y. 3 .-. ( t - i iJ' j Kaihy James, Richard Key Married in Recent Rites Kathy James, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard D. James, and Kenneth Key, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth (Carty) Key, were married in a formal, double-ring ceremony on Easter Sunday, April 18. The ceremony was held at the First Southern Baptist Church with Pastor Neil Foster, officiating. v. The bride was attired in a white satin, A-line gown. The gown had a scoop neckline with a sheer panel connecting the neckline to a high floral laced collar. The sheer sleeves, slee-ves, full circular chapel train and matching veil were all accented with floral lace. She carried a colonial bouquet of daises, pink bridal roses and babies breath accented with burgundy velvet ribbon. The groom wore a burgundy jacket and cream colored slacks. A pink bridal rose and babies breath from the bridal bouquet served as his bout. Rodney Holder stood as his best man. Attending the bride was her sister, Tana Edwards, as Matron of Honor! She wore a full length small pink floral print accented with burgandy velvet ribbon at the waist line and a wide-brimmed summer hat with a burgandy velvet bow. She carried a colonial bouquet of white daisies and pink bridal roses. The bridal party consisted of three brides maids: Twila James and Kerry James; sisters of the bride and Suzan Woodward. Their attire was the same as the Matron of , Honor's and they carried colonial bouquets of white ,. daises and baby breath. Tara James, IV2 year old sister of the bride, was flower girl. She wore a dress matching the bride's attendants, and carried a basket of white daises. Greggary Edwards, nephew of the bride was the ring bearer and wore a burgandy suit. Serving as groomsmen were Danny Key; Brother of the groom, Marlyn Morey; and Bill Shelton from Fruita, Colorado. The mother of the bride wore a full length burgandy gown with a matching pink lace jacket. Fran Townsend played the processional ("The Wedding Song") and recessional ("We've Only Just Begun") and also accompanied Mike Ross while he sang "The Wedding Song" precediiig the processional and "We've Only Just Begun" during the recessional. The reception was held at the church's Fellowship Hall - following the Ceremony. White daisy arrangements, burgundy bows and pink candles decora ted the church and Fellowship Hall. Bouquets and arrangements were made by Katie Granger and the mother of the bride. The wedding cake was made by Darlene Nelson. The couple spent their honeymoon at Grand Canyon, Arizona. They will reside in Moab where the groom is employed by Atlas and the bride at the Moab greenhouse, until the fall, when the groom plans to finish school at Provo Tech. |
