Show Aggies Again Hit By Injury Bug Special to The Telegram LOGAN, Nov. 84 crippled but not at all disheartened Utah Aggie football squad took the practice field Monday afternoon and, under ths direction of Coach Dick Rom-ney, Rom-ney, carefully laid the plans for the invasion of the Brigham Young university uni-versity Cougars In ths Aggie stadium sta-dium this Saturday. The way the situation stands, the Aggies have a pretty good football team when the strong players are all in tha lineup and are not physically physi-cally disabled, but when four or five of the veterans are out ths Aggies are only a mediocre ball club. Coach Romney is not one to alibi, but ths Aggies will definitely be in a weakened condition for the Saturday Satur-day game with the Cougars. At Monday's workout the following men pulled up with injuries: Captain Cap-tain Bernard Magnusson with an injured ankle; El Wayment with the same injured knee which was slightly bruised in the Denver game; Tracy Maero with an Injured knee; Howard Shurts with a badly bruised hip; Joe Lacey with an injured in-jured shoulder; Cliff Poole with an abdominal injury, and Don Walters with a bad knee. |
