Show 'Silver Anniversary' Luncheon Will Be Given Honoring Family Service Society's First Head ii Twenty-five years of aid to maladjusted mal-adjusted Salt Lake City families will be celebrated Wednesday by the Family Service society. When society members gather in the Newhousa hotel at noon they will honor the man whose foresight helped build an organisation which has prevented countless local families fam-ilies from foundering on the rocks of divorce, misunderstanding, pov- domestic relations. The man is Dr. T. B. Beatty, first president of th prgwwiwHrtn' e.nd long time health commissioner of Utah until his recent retirement- Presiding at the luncheon will be the society's present president, B. C J. Wheatlake. When the society was founded, said Miss Rosa Porter, general secretary. sec-retary. It was Incorporated as a community planning body for intercommunication inter-communication among the various charitable organisations of the city. The organization in time, however, how-ever, specialised in healing domestic wounds and caring for children's behavior problems. The society is proudest of its record ia divorce prevention. Speakers at Wednesday's luncheon lunch-eon will include Dr. Beatty, who will outline early history of the society; Judge Herbert M. Schiller, on "The Agency as Part of a National Na-tional Movement in Family Case Work"; Miss Kate Williams, "Family "Fam-ily Service Society Participation in a Community Program." and Beverly Bev-erly S.
