Show TRAFFIC SIGNAL REQUESTDENIED Petitions seeking installation of a traffic semaphore at Ninth West and Second South streets and painting paint-ing of angle parking stalls on the business district pavements were denied Tuesday by city commissioners. commis-sioners. Action was taken upon recommendation of Police Chief Harry L. Finch. Edwin Wright, (56 West Second South street, and others asked for installation of the semaphore. Commissioners Com-missioners agreed to install a stop sign instead and pointed out that a semaphore is already in operation at Eighth West and Second South streets. Mrs. G. B. "We feel that such lanes would be of value to motorists, but that little would be gained by doing the work at thia season.
