Show $125 FORFEITED BY S. LDRIVERS Five Salt Lake City motorists on Tuesday chose to forfeit $25 bonds on alleged charges of speeding rather rath-er than face Judge Reva Beck Bo-sone Bo-sone in city police court. Those charged with speeding and who each automatically turned over to the city $25 bonds for failing to appear on speeding charges were: Paul Pullen, 23. of 1144 West Fifth South street; Calvin Davenport, 19, of 88 R street: Frederick R. Hardy. 18, of 1487 Harvard avenue; L. T. Bass, 32. of 2778 Harrison avenue, and A. E. Christensen, 18. Alma D. Eakle. 31. of Woods Cross, pleaded not guilty to speeding charges and trial was set for November No-vember 10. Trials of two persona charged with drunken driving were continued contin-ued to November 18. They were: J. M. Anderson, 46. and Mrs. H. W. Ash worth, 38. of 671 East Ninth South street. Horace Grant. 21, of Woods Cross, was found guilty-of reckless driving driv-ing following a trial before Judge Bosone Tuesday and was given the alternative of, a 25 fine or eight days in jail, which was suspended by the judge. Fred Johnson. 27. of 244 West North Temple street, pleaded not guilty to reckless driving chsrges and will be sentenced November 15. |
