Show Mass Meeting Is Called On Price Fixing Measures A subject dear to the heart of the housewife . . . commodity prices . . . will be discussed at a maas meeting of women called for Wednesday at 10:30 a. m. at the Newhouse hotel. The call was sounded by Mrs. C. E Bonner, chairman of the newly formed family budget committee, com-mittee, which has declared waa against price fixing legislation in the state as hitting as the housewives' house-wives' purses. The session will consider house bills four, seven and eight ao-called ao-called fair trade practice measures meas-ures now before the legislature. Essentially, the measures would permit manufacturers and wholesaler! whole-saler! to fix minimum prices at , which their products could be sold at retail. - |
