Show Wasatch Club Holds Annual Tea Tuesday One of the most Interesting social events ef the jsai was tin" past presidents' tea given at the New-house New-house hotel Tuesday by the Wasatch Literary dub. Mrs. W. H. Bawden was chairman of the program. The past presidents of the dub presented present-ed a sketch, The Collect Speaks," under direction of Mrs. Esther Husbands. Hus-bands. Those taking part were Mrs. T. E. Rowan, Mrs. Ben Johnson, Mrs. W. S. Taylor, Mrs. W. D. Proe-ser, Proe-ser, Mrs. W. J. Loomis. Mrs. W. B. Roberts, Mrs. R. E. Ganahl, Mrs Lewis 8c hank and Mrs. Ernest Urien. In Robinson Preese sang two vocal solos and a trio composed of Ines Robinson Preese, 8usanna Christensen and Arthur J. Speery also sang. The tea room was In charge of Mrs. Lewis Schank, chairman of the entertainment committee, and other members of ths committee. The tea table was covered with a lace cloth over yellow satin and centered with a silver bowl of yellow yel-low roses, yellow daffodils and fern. Mrs. J. R. Stewart, Mrs. W. B. Roberts, Mrs. W. J. Loomis and Mrs. Ether Husbands, past presidents presi-dents of the dub, poured. An Instrumental trio furnished music for the tea. Fifty dub members mem-bers were present. |
