Show BENEFIT DANCE AT MAPLETON The last of a series of benefit dances for the Mapleton ward chapel will be held in thet Maple-ton Maple-ton amusement hall Thursday. April 6. Everybody is invited to attend. These dances according to committeemen com-mitteemen in charge, have been successful socially with everyone having a good time. Proceeds from the dances are used for a good cause in helping to complete the Mapleton chapel. At the next dance Thursday night, demonstrations of the Lambeth Lam-beth walk will be a special feature. fea-ture. A gorgeous quilt presented by Mrs. Wayne Johnson, and a lovely picture will be given away during the evening. Ralph Migliaccio's Chicago orchestra or-chestra with the Three Chums, said to be the very best dance orchestra or-chestra in the county, will furnish music for the dance. The orchestra will play all the hit parade popular popu-lar fox trots with lots of waltzes, also the Masuevean, Rye waltz, Circle dance and the ever popular popu-lar Schottish. In fact there will be dances for everyone and all are promised a good time. Elmer Bird is general chairman of the dance committee and is being assisted by other committee commit-tee members as follows: Mrs. Elmer El-mer Bird, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Holley, and Mr. and Mrs. Willis Harmer. |
