When the 'Dayton is installed It becomes a part of the car it? elf. Mounted Mount-ed on the front end of the automobile. Us additional weight puts no extra strain upon any part of the engine, but it does hold the car to th.5 road and makes it easier to ster. Be ins connected with the crank, shaft and in perfect aiiprnment. It makes no perceptible diiierer.ee in the power of the engine. "The 'Dayton' is accessible without raising rais-ing tho hood and leaves the engine free from any incumbrance. It also adds to the attractiveness ox the car. A 'Dayton' equipped Ford maks the Ford as comfortable and convenient as the higher priced cars. It is more than a starter. Besides this function, it supplies a perfect lighting and ignition system to the Ford, and anyone who has ever driven a Ford knows what improvement these additional features would make. "A distinctive feature of the 'Dayton' Is that it is chainles?, gearies and clutch-less. clutch-less. It generates its own power automatically auto-matically and has r.o meters to watch, no gears, no Wutchs and no chains to break or get out of order. "When one has followed fol-lowed the few simple instructions for operating, for instance, opening the throttle throt-tle the proper distance, pulling the carbureter car-bureter rod, and pressing the starting switch button with the heel, the starter does the rest. "The 'Davton' starter is as well-bat-i teried. probably, as any starter on the market, regardless of the make of car for which It whs designed. With proper care this battery should easily last for several years. Of coure, the same precautions and care which are due any storage battery bat-tery should be given the battery used with the 'Dayton' starter. It should be well filled with pure, distilled water, tested rpijularly for charging, and, when necessary, neces-sary, recharged at some battery service station. "The 'Dayton' is being well rereived by Salt Lake Ford owners who, like Ford owners in other sections whero this starter is better known, recognize In it the very thing for which they have been waiting and watching. Manv 'Dayton' starters are being installed on Fords from out-of-town, and they are giving complete satisfaction." |
