Show HUNS PLAN TO I PLEBISCITE Germany Will Send Men to Upper Silesia to Cast Their Votes. By EDWIN L. JAMES. (Copyright, 1919, by the New York Times Company.) PARIS, Oct. 4. Evidence has reached Americans in Paris that Germany Is planning a big colonization Job to carry the plebiscite in upper Silesia, which is to be held after the ratification of the peace treaty. Semiofficial propaganda is being conducted, con-ducted, urging all Sileslans throughout Germany to go tp Silesia for the election, with the promise of the payment of all expenses. A statement published In the Duessel-dorf Duessel-dorf newspaper says: "Many thousands of people who were born In Silesia will make the trip to their respective voting districts. First, those born In the first zone, and then those born In tho second zone. "Everyone who reports In time will receive re-ceive a furlough to participate In the plebiscite. Managers of private concerns should allow their employees to take part in the voting without losing anything by It. "The man who takes the trouble to travel that distance should have his efforts In that respect considered as being as Important Im-portant as if he were working for his concern. It Is advisable to give full pay for every day these men are afray in order to vote for the fatherland." |
