Show COM WILL DPEN CAMPAIGN OF WORK Plans for the continuation of work bv the Corona Mining company, which holds five claims located on the Salmon river, near Clayton, Idaho, were completed Yesterday Yes-terday at a meeting of the stockholders held in Salt Lake. All of the stock was represented at the meeting, those present pres-ent being George F. McConagle, Judge L. R. Martineau, Jr., J. A. Barclay and Horace Hor-ace Lewis, the other stockholder, Clyde A. Torrey of Clayton, being represented by proxy. Officers were unanimously elected as follows; Horace Lewis, president and treasurer; J. A. Barclay, secretary; Clyde A. Torres, vice president and manager at the mine. The manager was authorized to continue the development work already under way and to put on an additional force at the property, while President Lewis was authorized to at once secure bids on supplies and equipment in order that there might be no delay in carrying carry-ing forward the winter campaign. The holdings of the Corona company have now been proved to such a'n extent that the men behind the enterprise entertain en-tertain no doubt as to their ultimate success suc-cess In the work undertaken, all of the ground lying in a well-mineralized zone, with high-grade lead -silver values showing show-ing from the surface and with a geological geo-logical formation strongly indicative of permanent ore bodies at no great depth, while the tonnage of milling ore absolutely abso-lutely demonstrated places the property in the class of one that must finally be reckoned among the steady producers of the region. This, especially in view, of the fact that the location is favorable for both transportation and water facilities. |
