Therefore the first appearance appear-ance will warrant, if action is just if ied, the imposition of such sentence sen-tence as wili eliminate or reduce to a minimum juvenile delinquency. 1 believe a strict, fair and firm policy is best, everything considered, consid-ered, and 1 shall do all within my power to put the same into successful success-ful operation. Parents' and all older persons' co-operation is ve,ry necessary. Stand back of the law and encourage en-courage young people in right doing. Where parents shield their children in wrong doing and beg to have them let off,, easily for the first, second and third offence, etc., they nearly always lose their fight for their children in the end. Make him take his medicine like a man, no matter liow hard it may be. then help hint to avoid future chances for doing wroug. f have less patience for older people, whether parents, friends or strangers, who contribute, to the delinquency of minors by act 'or word, and shall impose, the penalties penal-ties that are provided in the juvenile juve-nile law when anv parlv is found guilty. ' If is unlawful for any person under twenty-one years of age to use or even have in their possession posses-sion tobacco or liquor. 1 iiope that all nf its can unite so there will be little or no court action. |
