Show GRANITE WIS FAST GAME FROMBINGHMA Granite Seconds Defeat I Murray Seconds in Preliminary Pre-liminary Event. In a spectacular game, ttie Granite basketball -tossers won from the Bingham five yesterday afternoon In the Granite gym by the score of 37 to 29. From the standpoint of the spectators the game was one of the best played this year. The Miners started fast and by the end of the first half had succeeded In piling up a big lead, but the Red and Blue boys came back strong and outplayed their opponents in the last half, and in the last few minutes of play succeeded In putting In the winning tallies. I're and Pteven-sen Pteven-sen played a fast game for Granite, and Holmes and Marshall did excellent work for Bingham. As a preliminary the Granite seconfis played the Murray seconds and took the honors by the narrow margin of one point. The second stringers of Coach Ash ton's squad have a reputation of winning or losing by a single tally. Both teams played fast, did some excellent passing and were about evenly matched.
