That the new town of Ferber, In the Deep Creek count, y, and just over the line in Nevada, will soon be on more than the surveyors' maps and the official plats j was evidenced by the information brought I back yesterday from the district by Wil- j liam Clark of the Ferber Copper com- pany. which is the owner of the Ferber : townsite and has placed lots on the ! market. j Mr. Clark came in from a conference i with J. C. Dh-k, president and general : manager of the company, and will be here several days before returning to the ; scene of activity. Mr. Dick said that John Price, recently connected with the Western L'tah Copper company, which is one of the biggest producers of the Deep Creek country, had taken charge of operations on the Ferber Copper company's com-pany's ground and that the lifth car of ore from the property had. just been shipped. "The advent of spring should bring a boom in Ferber." said Mr. Clark, "for the lots hav been on the market only a , few days and a large number have ai- I ready been sold. A carload of lumber has ' alreadv been shipped and as soon as it arrives building operations will be begun. The force at the Ferber mine will be in- creased just as soon as we can obtain .adequate accommodations for the miners, j and the output will then be correspond-' : ingly augmented, for there is virtually no ! limit to the tonnage of pay ore that is j In sight." |
