A resolution has been passed by the county commissioners of Grand county requesting the state road commission to appoint Jf. II. Turner to the position of state road agent. The request comes from Chairman fi. J. Thompson and Commissioners R. Me. Bride and V. P. Martin. The Grand county commissioners have written the state road commission asking ask-ing for an itemized statement of the road account of Grand county. This is to be prepared and furnished as soon as possible, as the state road commission commis-sion is especially desirous of co-operating with the commissioners of all counties coun-ties in the state highway improvement. The twelve-mile stretch of road between be-tween Castleton and Beaver creek is one of the sections of road which will probably receive attention from the Grand county officials in the near future. fu-ture. Improvements are now being made on that portion of the road between l-'astleton and Dewey, which has been in bad condition recently. |
