Show STRIKE RICH ORE ON THE PIOCHE-BRISTOL High-grade silver-lead ore has been struck on the Pioc he-Bristol Mining company's property, located near Pioche, Nev., according to a letter received by Joseph J. Paynes, Jr., president of the company. The news or the strike was given to the directors at the meeting held yesterday. Preparations are being made to start shipping by July 1. The letter was received from H. "W. Parker, the superintendent iu charge of the development, work. He says that three feet of silver-lead ore has been struck on the Contact vein. Eleven inches of it is an exceptionally high-grade high-grade product and about twenty-four inches is a milling ore. Three feet of it, however, will average $50 to the ton. Machinery will be installed and sinking to get under the ore started, after which it is believed the property will become a regular shipper. |
