Show IMPROVEMENTS ARE BEING CONSIDERED Western Pacific Planning to Make Extensions Ex-tensions as Soon as Reorganization Reorganiza-tion Is Effected. Extensive improvements in Utah and California are planned by the Western Pacific as soon as the reorganization is effected, according to Theodore Harte, general agent of the company, -who returned re-turned to Bait Lake yesterday from lus honeymoon. Mr. Harte and Miss Irene Mollby were married at Sacramento several sev-eral weeks ago, and after a honeymoon on the Pacific coast came to Bait Lake to make their home. During his visit on the Pacific, coast Mr. Harte discussed the outlook for improvements im-provements and extensions of the road following the effecting of the reorganization reorgani-zation aud was assured that the construction con-struction of branch lines in Utah , and California would 'be undertaken as soon as the present difficulties of the road are settled. While no specific districts were mentioned men-tioned in connection with the extensions exten-sions Mr. Harte is of the opinion that one of tho first'to be undertaken will be a branch line into the Deep Creek country. Such action' is considered highly high-ly probable inasmuch as General Manager Man-ager C. M. Levey, recently elected president pres-ident of the reorganized company, on one of his visits here last winter pave out the information that the Deep Creek line would be considered immediately following the reorganization, aud expressed ex-pressed the opinion that it would be the first branch of any length to be constructed. |
