Show ORDINANCE DEFINES DEALER IN REALTY Bj sale of any land, one fs own or that of another, a person will become a real estate dealer, so far as payment of a dealer's license is concerned, if an ordinance introduced Yesterday by Commissioner Com-missioner Karl A. Scheid is enacted by 1 the city commission. The ordinance is designed to establish definitions of necessity in the work of collecting licenses. A merchandise brok- j er is denned as any person, firm or corporation cor-poration that engages for commission or other compensation in the purchase or sale of meats, provisions or wares, jewelry jew-elry or precious metals. Another ordinance introduced by Mr. Scheid is designed to provide, for assessment as-sessment of circuses for licenses at a rate of $5 for each of the railroad cars used in hauling the circus into the city. |
