Mrs. Carrie Chapman Catt. president ot the National Woman Suffrage association, tonight made public a letter from President Wilson, written In reply to a telegram from her ask n "the president to make his position ?lear upon the suffrage plank of the lm-cirati lm-cirati platform. The plank received re-ceived mv entire approval before lis adoption adop-tion and' I shall support Us principle with sincere pleasure. I wish to .ioin with my fellow Democrats in recommending to the several states that they extend the suffrage suf-frage to women upon the same terms as to men." |
