Show CONSOLIDATED MUSIC CO. BUYS TWO-TON RE0 TRUCK A two-ton Reo, shown In the cut, was purchased this week by the Consolidated Consoli-dated Music company and will be used by that company in delivering pianos. This is the first motor-driven vehicle installed in-stalled by the Consolidated company for delivery purposes and the selection was made only after the company save the truck a thorough tryout. Like many other oth-er Salt Lake merchants, the firm became convinced that motor delivery was cheaper as well as being faster and better than delivery by horses. Manager Grady of the Grady Motor Car company says a number of these two-ton trucks are now in use in Salt Lake. Some - mtm&m6&s&,'-m- of the leading firms using them are the Salt Lake Hardware company, Culmers Oil company, Salt Lane Transfer company com-pany and A. Head & Co. The Duchesne Stage company also uses the truck for freight purposes in the Duchesne basin. The first shipment of the new 1500-pound 1500-pound Reo trucks was received this week. The Smith-Fans Drug company and the ("hristianson Produce company have purchased pur-chased them for tuse. Mr. Grady says that while In Snn Francisco last week he called upon Earl Anthony, the San Francisco Fran-cisco distributer for the Reo truck, and was informed that this firm had taken orders for sixty-five of these trucks. |
