Show SAYS HE WAS TOLD TO GET "IN RIGHT' INDIANAPOLIS, Sept. 25. That Chief of Police Samuel V. Perrott, a 'o-defendant with Mayor Joseph K. Bell, who is on trial charged with election elec-tion conspiracy, told him he had ''bet ter get in right," was the testimony ot Bell Howard, a negro, who testified for the state at the hearing todav. The negro asserted that Perrott told him that Mayor Bell said Howard wanted to work in the election. A number of witnesses were called to relate alleged attempts to intimidate intimi-date voters. Saloonkeepers called this afternoon to testify to making contri buttons to the Democratic campaign fund, brought the total number of men who have so testified np to 190. |
