But as the liussian exporters need the money worse than the importers on this side of the ocean needed the goods, it was only a question of time when the Petrograd government govern-ment would be compelled to release them. The formalities to be observed are probably vexatious to the importers, import-ers, but they will have to be endured as long as the war lasts unless we learn to get along without Russian products. EMBARGO LIFTED. Another restriction placed upon the 1 commerce of the United States by the j war in Europe has been eliminated and Russiau goods, held up since the outbreak out-break of hostilities, will be allowed to enter this country. These goods, covering cover-ing practically the entire range of Russian Rus-sian production or manufacture, are worth several millions of dollars in the agffreeate and have heen the suhiect |
