Radical changes arc to be made in the constitution consti-tution of the Intercollegiate Association of Amateur Athletes of America, if the plans which were discussed by the executive ex-ecutive committee at its annual midyear mid-year meeting here are adopted hy the annual convention of tho association next month. The proposed amendments and others which will be presented by the graduate gradu-ate advisory board will bo announced within the" thirty-day period required by the constitution of tho association. Onc of the amendments which will como up for action at tho meeting is that concerning the hummer throw. Last year it was proposed that the length of the haudle of the present hammer be shortened and tho weight increased so that in its flights the danger dan-ger to spectators would he minimized. Members of the committee refused to disclose the natnro of the other .proposed .pro-posed amendments.
