THEREFORE, Pursuant to the terma and directions of said ordinance; and under and pursuant to Section 308 of the Complied Laws of Utah. 1307, an amended by Chapter 4 of the Laws of Utah, 1S11. and Section 309 of Kald Compiled Com-piled Laws as amended by Chaptwr 4 of the Laws of Utah. 1000, and Section 310 of cald Compiled Laws, notlco is hereby given and proclamation u? hereby made that on the ISth day of February, 1914, In Salt Lako City, Utah, a special election will be held for the purpose of submitting submit-ting to tho vote of such qualified electors elec-tors of Bald city as shall havo paid a prop-crty prop-crty tax in said city in tho year 1013, the following questions: 1. The question of Incurring a bonded indebtedness in the sum of SE25.000 for the purpose of defraying the expeiiGo of Increasing, In-creasing, Improving, enlarging, extending, perfecting and adding to tho present water Biipply and water works syatum of said city, by constructing a water supply main from Big Cottonwood Conduit along Thirteenth Thir-teenth South street to Ninth East street; constructing a distributing main on Ninth East street from Twelfth to Thirteenth South street; constructing attributing reservoirs on tho East Ranch and In City Creek canyon; constructing Btorage renervolrs at Lakes Phoebe, Mary nnd Twin Lakes in Big Cottonwood canyon; constructing storage reservoir in Parley's canyon; enlarging tho prosonl East Jordan Jor-dan canal from lis heart to Little Cottonwood Cotton-wood creek; and extending said canal to Big Cottonwood creek for tho purpose of carrying water now being transported through the Jordan and Salt Lake City canal, and acquiring water rights In Big Cottonwood creek or other sources or water cupply by exchange or purcluise or both. 2, Also tho question of Incurring a bonded Indebtedness In tho sum of ?375,000 for tho purpose of defraying the oxponso of completing, increasing, improving, extending ex-tending and adding to the present sewer system of said city, by constructing a main outlet Fewer along Seventh or Eighth West streets from Tenth South street to about Ninth North street; constructing con-structing a pumping station consisting of building, tanks and such pumps, motors, gas engines and other machinery in addition addi-tion to tho present equipment at Eighth v West and Seventh North streets as may be necessary for the purpose of pumping pump-ing sewage to said main outlet sower into the discharge pipe next herein mentioned; laying a discharge plpo to carry sewage from said puiruulng station norlhwestorlj-to, norlhwestorlj-to, at or about Redwood road; constructing construct-ing outlet canal from end of said discharge dis-charge pipe to Crreat Salt Lake, and ox-tending ox-tending main sower from Main 3trect to Seventh or Eighth West 6treot. Said Improved, additional and new wator system and said improved, additional addi-tional and now sewerage system shall be owned by Salt Lake City. Said lunds shall bear lntorest at a rato not to exceed G per cent per nnnum. which Interest shall bo payublo semiannually; nnd said bonds shall become due and payable pay-able at the end of 20 years from tho dato of Issue, and shall bo of such denomlna-Commlsslonors denomlna-Commlsslonors may hereafter determine.
