Show I SUMMER SCHOOL TO BE HELD AT B. Y. U. Announcement-was made yesterday that a summer school to be conducted under the direction of tho .Mormon church would in all probabilitv be opened about June 1 at Brigham Young university at Provo. A schedule of courses of study for tho school was discussed yesterday at a meeting of tho special summer school committee appointed by tho principals of the church schools. It is probable that Professors Merrill and Sweuson. both of the B. Y. institution, will bo given charge of tho school. The committee com-mittee which met yesterday is composed com-posed of tho following: George H. Brimball, president of the B. Y. C; Willard Young, president of tho Latter-day Saints university of this city; Dr. C N. Jensen, president of the Brigham Young collego at Logan; Newton New-ton E. Noyes. principal of the Snow academy at Ephraim; W. TX. Henderson, Hender-son, principal erf the Weber academy at Ogdec; Guy G. Wilson, principal of the former Juarez academy, and II. H. Oummings, superintendent of tho church schools, Tho summer schools will he open to all students in tho state. |
