In tho first part of April, it is expected, ex-pected, the now administration building build-ing at tho University of Utah will bo oponed, and the university alumni association as-sociation plans to mark tho dedication with' its first public reception in tho new ptructuro, according to an announcement an-nouncement yestorday mado by President Presi-dent Elbert Thomas of the alumni, Acoordiug to tho plans of tho asso-l cintion as at present outlined, it is the intention to havo tho alumni dovoto tho ontiro day to celebration of tho dedication of this most important and attractive building in tho entiro university uni-versity group. Either in the afternoon or tho evening, it is proposed, a public pub-lic reception will bo held in tho building. build-ing. Permission to do this has alroady boen gained from the university regents, re-gents, and tho alumni propose to also enlist tho good offices of tho Commercial Commer-cial club in order to mnko of tho occasion occa-sion a real civic event. Ono of tho ideas ontortniiied by President Thomas aud his associates is to bring about a closer acquaintanceship acquaintance-ship and relationship botweeu the public pub-lic and tho various administrative departments de-partments of tho university.
