Carl Ofers, the chauffeur, who was shot while near the two chauffeurs on Main street who were engaged In a duel, testified that he was not positive as to which one of tho chauffeurs had shot him- Robert Steanhardt. who was discharged In police court last week, was arraigned on the charge of carrying concealed con-cealed weapons. He was fined S75. A similar complaint has been filed against Scott. Mrs, Geno O'Dcll was found guilty of conducting a house of ill fame at f!2A Commercial street, but Judge Whitaker deferred sentence for twenty-four hours. LeRoy Wins was acquitted of the charge of stealing S10S from Will Holmes Henry Waters and John Seigel were discharged by Judge Whitaker -after they had been in the city Jail for forty days awaiting trial on the charge of stealing $11.40 from Frank Kelly. The prosecution discovered Friday morning that Kelly was In Nevada and would not return to prosecute tho case, |
