Show MEXICAN REVOLUTIONISTS WELCOME IN LOS ANGELES LOS ANGELES. Aug. i When Ma.' gon. Rivera and Vlllarcal, the Mexican revolutionists, who were released from the territorial prison at Florence, Ariz,, vesterday, upon the completion of the sentence of fourteen months. Imposed upon them by the federal court of Arizona Ari-zona for having infringed the neutrality laws of the country, stepped from the train here today they were greeted with cries of "Viva La Revolution 1" and were swept from their feet by an enthusiastic crowd of nearly a hundred of their countrymen, coun-trymen, who greeted thorn with hearty embraces. Tho three men who, as a rosult of their frankly avowed dissatisfaction with tho government, have been the subject of procoedurc In courts of every rank In the country, and whose cases were discussed In congress, sucmed broken neither In spirit nor health by their lmprlsonmont and responded cheerfully to tho greetings of their soclallstlcally Inclined admirers The three men announced that thoy will make their future home In this city and continue their opposition to the Diaz regime In Mexico. |
