Moore, the missing mombor of tho Board of Public Service, who disap- penred in March last, after the grand HBfl jury had returned an indictment HHh against him for accepting a bribe in connection with the Broad street pnv- HBV ing scandal, and for selling material HBfl to thc city from a firm in which he was HH interested, appeared at the court today and gave himself up. He had been in I Canada since his night, nnd arrived hore last night. Moore pleaded guilt' to tho chnrgu jH of soiling supplies to the city while a mombor of the Servico Board, and was lined $200 and sentenced to three months in jail. Ho pleaded not guilty lo the charge of accepting a bribe. |
