Show BOISE SUMMER SCHOOL Teachers From All Parts of Idaho Will Attend Sessions. Special to The Tribune. BOISE. Tdaho, June 20. Arrangements Arrange-ments for tho summer normal school to be held in Boise, beginning July 1.1 and continuing six weeks, havo been completed, and tho prospects arc that it will be successful, A large number of teachers in' this section have signified signi-fied their intention of attending. The Cedar Creek Reservoir and Irrigation Irri-gation company has just tiled an application appli-cation with the State Land Board for a Carey act contract to irrigate a tract, of 50,000 acres of land in Twin Falls county. The land joins tho great Twin Falls tract on the west. The company proposes to build an electric lino from its tract to tho reservoir. Rev. G. L. Tufts of Portland, who fathered the "Sunday rest'? bill before be-fore Uie Legislature fast ses3iou, is in th,c citv. lie flayn the Sunday rest law is wclf received in most parts of tho State. Dr. Tufts is here in connection with the case that was carried to the Supremo Court to test the constitutionality constitution-ality of this law. |
