Show MRS. JONES HELD UNDER $400 BONDS Mrs. Wiliard T. Jones, who was accused ac-cused of having drugged and robbed a young woman near the Rio Grande depot de-pot a few days ago, was tried in the criminal division of the City court yesterday yes-terday before Judge Diehl and held to the District court under $400 bonds. The complaint against ,Mrs. Jones says that she met the young woman as she left the train. She hnd come here to secure .employment. Mrs. Jones invited in-vited her to take supper with her iu a restaurant close by, and Induced her to take a glass of beer. This beer was supposed to be drugged, and the plaintiff plain-tiff says that she was robbed of her purse, which contained all the money she had. The police claim that they found the young woman's purse and gold watch a few days later in the oven of the cook stove in the defendant's room. |
