Show MURRAY PEOPLE PLAN ' FOR A WATER SYSTEM On Friday night a meeting of the citizens cit-izens of Murray will be held in the Murray" Mur-ray" schoolhouse' to formulate plane whereby that ' borough shall become possessed of a water system of Its own. Of the three schemes that will come up for consideration the cheapest is that of seating up a pumping plant on Little Cottonwood .creek, sodth of the city, anil run pipes thence to the Regal livery stable on each side of the road. Tho cost of this Is estimated at only $10,000 or $15,000. Two other m6rc expensive propositions proposi-tions are to sink artesian wells to tho cast of the town, about a mile and a half outside and pipe the water in. This would cost upward of $50,000. Tho other oth-er alternative is the installment of a large cistern in the northeastern part of the town, to be filled from artesian wells. By this pjan a means of protection pro-tection from Are would be provided. |
