com-mittee held in the olflce of the superintendent superin-tendent of public instruction The pro 1 gramme as published in last Sundays Herald was promulgated with tha addition I addi-tion of a provision that J A Smith of I Ogden wi lead the discussion of Samuel I Oldhams paper on herein Are We Educationally Wasteful which will be i i one of the features of ths second day j and also the addition a paper by B S iHlnckley on Business Education the i I afternoon of the last day President Brim hall will issue a circular letter embodying j i I a g3neral invitation to all teachers in the i state and copies of the printed pro gramme will be sent out with the presidents I presi-dents appeal for the largest possible attendance at-tendance < The committee discussed ways and I means of inducing every padagogiie to attend at-tend and in viaw of the attractive pro i gramme and the reduction of railroad fares the indications of a large and protu I able session are very encouraging Be i teachers meeting and the joint i i institute held at the university and invited I I the preceptors and preceptresses of both I assemblages to attend the state associations j associa-tions unanimous yesterdays Herald Physical Education was the subject treated under I appropriate topics At th clpsc of the meeting the teachers received their monthly pay checks from Clerk Moreton I and words of appreciation from Superintendent Superin-tendent Millspaugh v < > < S Prof Aupsburg savj his lecture on Expression Ex-pression of Lines at the Fourteenth Fourteelth ward meeting house on Friday evening for the benefit of the Fremont school library The lectur was accompanied with a programme by the school consisting 1 consist-ing of declamations music and drawing The Attendance was good and the amount 1 I received gratifying Some of the exer I shies an worthy of special mention The 1 violin solo by Miss Georgia Young the I vocal solo by Miss Laura Hums and the I declamation by Master
