Show THE OVERLAND DEAL Sherman and Peyton Join Hands I This Enterprise Late yesterday afternoon the papers were sisnpd sealed and delivered Avhereby Gill S Peyton and his eastern associates purchased a controlling interest I in-terest in the capital stock of the Overland Over-land Mining company and as a result of this important deal a large force I of men will be put to work in the ex tensiAe development of the Companys valuable Camp Floyd property soon aLter the first of the year and early in the spring a cyanide mill with at least 100 tons daily capacity will be erected on the ground i The holdings of the OArerland company com-pany embracing nine full patented claims Is located two and a half miles due west of the famous Me cur mine and is1 presumably > on the same ore belt or zone A large amount of work has been done in the development of the Overland Over-land and in doing this immense areas of ore have been blocked out which carry excellent gold values the mineral being highly silicious of splendid leaching quality and entirely freefrom I deleterious substances Judge W A Sherman has stood at the head of the Overland enterprise from its incipiency and it has been through his efforts and untiring energy that the mine is in such magnificent shape today and it is a pleasure to be able to announce that he has joined join-ed hands with Mr Peyton who was identified with the early history and final success of the great Mercur goldmine gold-mine and that together the two men will labor from this time on in the endeavor en-deavor to place the property on a divi dend > paying basis t Mr Peyton has had this deal in hand for some time and after making exhaustive ex-haustive tests and experiments with ore from the mine has arrived at the conclusion that the Overland in due r si 0 time1 i will rank with the leading producers pro-ducers and dividendpayers of this I wonderful gold camp The sale of the control in this property I prop-erty to Mr Peyton means much for the company a well as to the district at I large as it places the association on a solid substantial footing and insures I for the camp the operation of a large and valuable property and another mill for the district I |
