Show J SOAP OPERA WEEK L 'Another World' fan gets to act on show y v ( ), By Nancy M. Reichardt NEW YORK When "Another World" fan Bonnie Comley entered an essay contest con-test sponsored by Boston's WBZ-TV, she never imagined she'd actually win the prize a chance to appear on her favorite soap. But win is exactly what Bonnie did. Picked from 64 semi-finalists by Taro Meyer (Melissa Needham), Christopher Rich (Sandy Alexander) and casting director Pat McCorkle, Bonnie Bon-nie was cast as a travel agent for a day and coached through her scene by Ray Liotta (ex-Joey Perrini) and "AW" director Mike Firmar. Pleased with her efforts and flattered by the praise she received from the stars of "AW," Bonnie said, "I was really taken in by bow they made me up and how I came across on the camera, and was awed by the technical aspects the cameras, the scenery, the lights. It was fun and I wished I could have stayed longer." 1 Taro Meyer Meanwhile, contract newcomers new-comers added to the cast of "AW" include Ed Power as Harry Shea, Chris Marcantel as Peter Shea, Anne Rose Brooks as Diana Frame, and , Christian Maurice as Cory McGowan. Exiting were Ray Liotta and Bradley Bliss as Joey and Kit Perrini, and Paul Gentry as Philip Lyons. |
