Show Jay R. Steed Dies At 57: Clinton Resident Jay R. Steed, 57, died Nov. 24, a resident of Clinton. He was born Sept. 24, 1924 in Farmington, the son of Franklin Frank-lin and Mabel Lindsay Steed. I le married Larue Ball May 10, 1945 in Farmington. MR. STEED grew up in Farmington, attended local schools and Davis High School. He was a member of the Clinton 4th Ward. He was employed as a steamfitter at Hill AFB and served in the U.S. Navy in World War II and the Korean War. He is survived by his wife of Clinton; son, James Jay Steed, Riverdale; daughters, Mrs. David (Connie) Hodson, Clearfield and Mrs. Todd (Sue) Flint, Clinton; seven grandchildren. ALSO, survived by brothers and sisters: Russell S. Steed, Oakland, Calif.; Don M. Steed, Granger, Frank Steed, Layton; Jack L. Steed, Farmington; Farm-ington; Dean R. Steed and Richard Steed, both of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Dale (Julia) Eldredge. Richland, Wash.; Mrs. Roy (Lesie) Erbonski, Ffeemont, Calif.; Mrs. Bud (Dorothy) Rettig, Murray, Ut.; Mrs. Lloyd (Marine) Petty, Pet-ty, North Salt Lake; Mrs. James (Betty) Parsell, Farmington; Farm-ington; Mrs. Jerry (Norma) Statley, Scotts Bluff, Neb. Funeral services were held Nov. 30 at Lindquist Kaysville Mortuary with Bishop Val Beus officiating. Interment in the Farmington City Cemetery, Cemet-ery, kj |
