Show Jaycee Aux. Completes Clinic w Ninety-one participants recently re-cently completed the babysitting baby-sitting clinic directed by the Bountiful Jaycee Auxiliary in October and November. The clinic consisted of four instructional instruc-tional sessions and a graduation gradua-tion ceremony. THE FIRST session was presented by Jim Trump on fire safety and prevention. The following session involved the entertainment of children, presented pre-sented by Dianne Eggett. A third session regarded emergency techniques and first-aid and was given by Tim Tate along with a baby bath demonstration given by Nancy JL Kohles. The fourth session was a mother's panel consisting consist-ing of Dana Pope, Maylenne Neeley, Norma Crowther and Shauna Kerr. A graduation ceremony was presented Nov. 19, for the 91 participants and parents. Bountiful Jaycee Auxiliary President Susan Johnson presided pres-ided over the ceremony with Nancy Kohles, chairman of the baby-sitting clinic. The entire en-tire baby-sitting clinic was designed de-signed to enable participants to be better prepared in child care while baby-sitting. THE PARTICIPANTS came from all areas of the neighboring neighbor-ing communities as well as the Bountiful area. IT IS likely that the Bountiful Bounti-ful Jaycee Auxiliary will make this a yearly project to benefit the community. |
