Show ... . West ,, . Bountiful The Relief Society Board of the 3rd Ward has aprogressive dinner party for their Christmas Christ-mas party. About 40 people went to the homes of Suzanne Curley, Julia Murray, Jean McKean and Arleen Pace. Florence Ware is happy to have visitors come to her home and to her son's home to help pass the lonely hours. Her brother, Theodore Burnham, had a stoke and his wife is not well, so they can't come to visit with them. Florence is looking forward to a visit from her niece Donna Whitney. Ruth Winegar remembers her visit to Arizona to the home of Joyce and Bill. She tried to talk with Olive Bown, but was not able to make connections. con-nections. The whole family will meet at the home of Ron and Sonia. Ruth is proud of her grandsons grand-sons who wrestle and play football. Everyone was happy to have Tom Warren home for Thanksgiving. He works in Death Valley and has less pain in his leg. When he returns to Utah the pain returns. The John Tafts journeyed to Las Vegas for Thanksgiving at the home of John's sister, Roseann Cox. The Vic Tracys were in Malta, Mal-ta, Ida. for Thanksgiving, They will have a Christmas party with her sister, Mr. and Mrs. Dave White and family. Estle and DaNae Sadorus and their family will go to Idaho Ida-ho for Christmas. The festivities festivi-ties will be held at grandmas' home. Family members were with the Wanless Southwick family when they celebrated David's getting his Eagle award. Angness B. Mangus has been hospitalized in the Lake-view Lake-view Hospital. We hope Mike Johnson has quickly recovered from surgery on his foot. Heinz Poike named and blessed his first grandson, Russell Rodriguez. He is the infant son of Russell and Heike Rodriguez. The new MIA presidency of the 2nd Ward are Renon Hulet, president; Shonna Payne and Colleen Muir, conselors; Sher-rie Sher-rie Page, secretary. We wish them well. Idell Samuelson is home after af-ter finishing her quarter at WSC. Part of the family was home for Thanksgiving. This month is special to the Samuel-sons Samuel-sons as Kevina and Clare both have birthdays. Clare was born on Christmas day. Congratulations to Virginia Hubbs and Chris Snow who are engaged and planning a June wedding. The MIA Maid girls of the 7th Ward enjoyed their visit to the Festival of Trees with leader lead-er DeEtte Sowed and Eileen Salmon. Trudy Rosemann is feeling better and looking forward to the traditional Chirstmas Eve party with her family. Doug Anderson and his four children will be in the group. They are happy that their son Walter comes from Wyoming often to do business and to visit them. Beth and Joe Ray are awaiting await-ing the arrival of their son Rick Ray , who is coming for a visit. We hope that Mrs. Tuttle of Woodhaven Trailer Park, is improved after her recent surgery. |
