Show I West Bountiful The youth of the 7th Ward MIA ergoyed a Christmas party par-ty last week with games and food. It was most refreshing to attend the 7th Ward progressive progres-sive Christmas party last week. There was much com-raderie com-raderie and friendliness as people peo-ple ate from home to home. The program afterwards put people in the true spirit of Christmas. The "Noteworty" singers were indeed a success, and the pioneer story given was beautiful. "Mr. Kreuger's Christmas" will be shown Dec. 19 at 8 p.m. Jon Lee was entertained at a special birthday dinner last Sunday. Robert W. Telford was accepted as a member of the 7;h Ward last weekend. We hope that Kathy Banger-ter Banger-ter quickly recovers from surgery. By ALICE MITCHELL 295-1156 Although it is old and trite to some people, "It's getting to look a lot like Christmas in the city. The lights are on at the city hall and Myrveldean Dangerfield had her decorations decora-tions up earlier than most. Max Hall has done his yearly tradition tradi-tion of brightening the corner where he lives and the Ronald Bangerter family had their decorations de-corations out and they featured fea-tured a new addition. The addition addi-tion is an authentic Canadian sled which they brought home from Canada when they went to get their missionary son. Another thing which makes it look like Christmas is that many people smile much more than at any time of the year. Their eyes twinkle as they think of the joy which they can share with others. The Eugene Salmons have been entertaining Marian Salmon Sal-mon and two children from Massachusetts. Also, the Eugene Salmons are announcing announc-ing that Craig and Ten Salmon have a new son. Congratulations to Clayne and Julie Jensen on the birth of their new daughter, and to Dennis De-nnis and Catherine Webster on the birth of their baby girl. Dorothy Zesiger flew to Denver, De-nver, Colo, to visit with her sister. It is interesting to listen to Mike Miller, head of the Democratic Party in Utah, as he discusses problems and their solutions on radio and TV. He reminds us that every person is important in maintaining main-taining the democratic form of government. The Albert de Champlains entertained several of their family members and friends at the marriage of their daughter Janie and Neil Paget, last week. |
