Show Davis Family Counseling Aids Many A recent beneficiary study conducted by Davis County United Way indicates that o$er 450 Davis County families fami-lies will be helped this year by Family Counseling Center which is a United Way Agency. Agen-cy. Although the center is located lo-cated in Salt Lake at 355 S. 600 E., approximately 12 percent of its clients are from south Davis County. THE FAMILY Counseling Center, which is directed by Dr. Stan Richards, has been helping people in the Salt Lake area and surrounding vicinities since 1912. Qualified counselors counse-lors help their clients with problems related to marriage, budgeting, behavior disorders, distress, abuse, aging, illness, etc. They can counsel individuals, indi-viduals, couples, or entire families. The Family Counseling Center is a private, non-profit agency whose cost of services is met by client payments which vary according to family income and circumstances, third-party resources, and the United Way. Nearly 65 percent per-cent of its budget is funded by the United Way. THIS YEAR approximately $16,000 in United Way donations dona-tions will be used to serve residents resi-dents of south Davis County who contach the Family Counseling Coun-seling Center fro assistance.
