Show Chosen For Senate V J a BOUNTIFUL Annette Bay, a student of Woods Cross High where she serves as school senator, is one of two chosen from Utah to attend the 20th anniversary of the United States Senate Youth Program in Washington, D.C., Jan. 30 to Feb. 6. MISS BAY is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elvon L. Bay, 2940 S. 450 E., Bountiful. She is a member of the National Na-tional Honor Society, chorus and orchestra. She is also the school's literary magazine editor. edi-tor. Extracurricular activities include being a writer, medical assistant, hospital volunteer worker and teacher of handicapped hand-icapped students. AS A delegate to the Senate Youth Program, she will be awarded a $2,000 scholarship to study government and re lated subjects. The scholarships scholar-ships and expenses to the program prog-ram including transportation, transporta-tion, lodging and meals are made possible through grants from the William Hearst Foundation. No government funds are used. A total of 104 students, two from each state, District of Columbia, and the Department Depart-ment of Defense Dependents Schools, will attend the week-long week-long program for a closeup look of the federal governmentespecially govern-mentespecially the U.S. Senate in action.
