Show Bountiful News By RITA BROWN 295-2790 This month makes one think of being with families and friends. Thinking of the birth of Christ we remember the family, the Holy Family. Mary and Joseph and the love they possessed. The world of that time saw only a man, woman and child. If he had not been surrounded by love he could not have given his life for us. The love was there because to be loved is to give love. IF WE could bottle or can the love flowing around this time of year to bring out at lean i times, the earth would become ' as heaven. Would that it were possible. bringing her son, Kelly, back from his mission. In the baby department, Austin Au-stin and Elaine Sargent have a son. Grandparents are Earl and Marge Jones. The former Noreen Moss has a little boy, her mother, Marjorie Moss, is very proud. Helen Mills announces that she has another granddaughter and Tammy and Kurt Kilpack blessed bles-sed their small daughter. Kelly Ann, on Dec. 6. Tammy's parents pa-rents are Joseph and Leslie Skinner. Paul (Skip) Thorum and Rosemary McCloud are engaged. en-gaged. They announced the wedding date as March 12, 1982. We wish the best for them. I here are those who believe there is too much commercialism commercial-ism in the celebration of Christmas. There is only that commercialism that we as individuals indi-viduals let creep into our plans for Christmas. There is so much that is beautiful about this season. The decorations, the songs and carols, the cards and wishes are but a few. The hope that "peace on earth" is possible. The love everyone has. The presents given because of that love. Giving is the way to show love whether it is tangible presents pre-sents or gifts of self. The visiting visit-ing with families and friends which is os much a part of this season. Families can choose their own way of celebrating the birth of Christ. That is the bonus of living in America. The thought for today is in the story "The Man Who Missed Mis-sed Christmas" written by J. Edgar Park. "To love people, to be indispensible somewhere, some-where, that is the purpose of life. That is the secret of happiness." happi-ness." The 4th Ward family Christmas Christ-mas party will be held Dec. 12. Santa will be there and treats will be given as well as a nice dinner. The show, "It's a Miracle" was shown on Monday Mon-day for 30 people from the 4th Ward. Janice Mcllrath was back to her meetings on Sunday. She returned from Puerto Rico |
